Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 gallon cold water divided
  • 1 pint fresh raspberries
  • 2 family-size tea bags or more to taste

Instructions
 

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Bring sugar and 1 cup water to a boil in a saucepan, and boil until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat; add raspberries and tea bags. Crush raspberries slightly with the back of a spoon.
  • Let tea steep for about 5 minutes, or until tea reaches the strength you desire. Remove tea bags.
  • Pour mixture through a sieve to strain out raspberries into a 1-gallon pitcher. Fill the pitcher with remaining cold water; chill thoroughly before serving, about 1 hour.

Notes

Serve in frosty glasses with a sprig of fresh mint.
