Ingredients
  

Bacon Base

  • 4 oz. thick-cut bacon cut into ¼" pieces
  • 2 scallions white and green parts separated, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz. cream cheese softened
  • ¾ cup shredded cheddar
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

  • In a cold, large, ovenproof or cast-iron skillet, arrange bacon in a single layer. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crispy, about 10 minutes. Transfer bacon to a paper-towel-lined plate to drain.
  • In a serving bowl, mix bacon, white scallion parts, cream cheese, cheddar, almonds, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper until combined.
  • Top with green scallion parts. Serve cold or at room temperature with crackers alongside.
