Main Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil large drizzle
  • 8 ounces Chicken Sausage cut into ¼ to ½ slices
  • 2-3 cups broccoli roughly chopped
  • kosher salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup Orzo pasta
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Cooking Instructions

  • In a large skillet on med/high heat, drizzle olive oil in the pan. Once hot, add the sliced chicken sausage. Cook for 2-3 minutes then flip and cook another minute to brown each side.
  • Add the broccoli to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes until broccoli is bright green and slightly soft.
  • Add the garlic and orzo, stir everything together, and heat for another minute.
  • Add chicken broth and stir. Bring to a boil. Turn heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes until orzo is soft.
  • Once all liquid is absorbed, add parmesan cheese and stir. Serve immediately, sprinkling more parmesan if desired.
