In a large skillet on med/high heat, drizzle olive oil in the pan. Once hot, add the sliced chicken sausage. Cook for 2-3 minutes then flip and cook another minute to brown each side.
Add the broccoli to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes until broccoli is bright green and slightly soft.
Add the garlic and orzo, stir everything together, and heat for another minute.
Add chicken broth and stir. Bring to a boil. Turn heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes until orzo is soft.
Once all liquid is absorbed, add parmesan cheese and stir. Serve immediately, sprinkling more parmesan if desired.
